Installation Instructions

For the best appearance, clean and dry the surface of your German license plate. You want the surface to be as clean and smooth as possible. The graphic design of both seals are 100% accurate in size. Take a moment to consider the best alignment and location of your stickers.

When applying each sticker, place the sticker lightly in the correct location. Next, apply pressure from the middle of the sticker and press outward to the edges with your fingers. This will help squeeze out any air bubbles. If you still end up with an air bubble and the sticker is firmly applied to the plate, you can use a pin needle to pop a hole in the vinyl to let the air escape and then press the vinyl firm to the plate to remove the bubble.

The stickers will look their best when applied to a cleaned, even surface. A front license plate will have the state registration seal and optional hexagonal emissions sticker above it. The rear plates have the state registration seal and the safety inspection sticker above it.
